3 Web Design Trends for 2022 That We Love
Thinking of launching a new website in 2022? If you need some inspiration, here are three trends that seem to be popping up on some of our favourite web design blogs and channels (and we very much approve!).
Heroes can Focus on Typography (Less Images)
The hero image is the first thing that your audience sees when they land on your website landing page. Many websites are grabbing our attention with captivating words and bigger, bolder typography. Command attention the way a news headline line does by creatively styling text, as oppose to highlighting a photograph or illustration. The idea here is to put emphasis on content and design.
Accessibility and Inclusiveness
Although being inclusive should be the standard and not simply a trend, we love seeing how accessibility is being increasingly prioritized in the world of web design. From putting consideration into font sizes and colour contrasts, to using inclusive content and language, let your audience know that you are considering everyone’s needs. Accommodating your design with accessibility in mind also simply makes a better experience for all.

Gradients
Gradient colour schemes seem to be gaining popularity for backgrounds, as well as for text color fills and icon or illustration fills. Although gradients are nothing new, they have seemed to evolve from being on the subtle side to being more dazzling and eye-catching. So go ahead and give that colourful, striking background or gradient-filled typography a try!
